“This play… proves one of those experiences you can’t help wishing every kid could have.”
Liz Nicholls, The Edmonton Journal |
This powerful play is an intense and poetic exploration of bullying and violence based on the brutal murder of Reena Virk by her peers in Victoria, B.C. in 1997. Performed across Canada to audience and critical acclaim, the play is an engaging one-woman show that examines the emotional dynamics of teen relationships. Concrete last toured this play in 2005 and our 2003 production was awarded an Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award for Outstanding Production for Young Audiences by the professional theatre community in Edmonton.
