Under Cover is a play that explores the challenges faced by teenagers of Middle Eastern descent in Canada. Ella is just like any other student you might see wandering
the halls of a Canadian High School. When Ella makes a decision to wear
the hijab, it becomes obvious to everyone that she is
Muslim, and suddenly her faith is front and centre. Faith, respect and acceptance are all questioned when even Ella’s best friends have some unexpected reactions.
