Summer is here!    

We finished our 20th Anniversary Season on a high note with a great Festival, a book launch and a much appreciated acknowledgment of our work from our peers.

We had a wonderful time this summer at the 2010 Sprouts New Play Festival for Kids.  Thank you to the record breaking crowds who joined us as we watched our seedling plays come to life.  The Festival also marked the launch of our newly published: Sprouts! An Anthology of New Plays from Concrete Theatre.  If you’d like to purchase a copy, please check out Playwrights Canada Press.

June was good to us, as later that month at the Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Theatre Awards we were honoured with the Award for Outstanding TYA Production for Routes by Collin Doyle.  Concrete Theatre also received six other nominations for our work.  What a way to cap off the season!  We are so proud of all the artists who worked with us throughout the year.
