Concrete Theatre has successfully produced digital and live events while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our company members throughout the ongoing pandemic. We acknowledge that different productions/teams will have different comfort levels with Covid and other ongoing health concerns and protocols. We ask that everyone be respectful and supportive of each others needs and level of caution.
Policy
- All safety guidelines outlined by Public Health Orders, the City of Edmonton, the Governments of Alberta & Canada are to be respected and enforced as a minimum standard. These may change throughout the term of your contract.
- Covid19 Rapid tests and masks are available from our office.
- Air purifiers will be running in the rehearsal hall, company office and boardroom (which may function as overflow rehearsal space) whenever occupied.
- Please wash your hands or sanitize them regularly throughout the day.
Procedures
- Anyone with core symptoms, not related to a pre-existing illness or health condition, must report: new onset of cough or worsening chronic cough, fever, new or worsening shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, runny nose, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste. Anyone with symptoms, or who learns they have been a close contact, should inform their direct supervisor (Stage Manager, Director, General Manager) as soon as possible so that a collaborative return-to-work plan can be discussed with the company and Concrete leadership.
- Upon news of development of symptoms or close contact with a confirmed illness within the company, the team will all do a rapid test before resuming work. Testing will continue at a scope commensurate with the current situation, as determined on a case by case basis.
