About the Plays:

Lucy
by Alison Neuman

Lucy, a disabled girl, is passionate about dance, tired of learning virtually at home and wants to take in-person classes. She knows she must challenge traditional dance classes, what dancers should look like, and ideas about what a disabled person can do. In her Tap Dance class, Lucy discovers she is not the only one trying to be seen, find themselves, and belong.

The Monkey and The Turtle
by Alexander Ariate

Based on the classic Filipino fable; two friends, a monkey and a turtle set off on the search for food through the forest. When their opposite natures get the better of them, the pair must quickly learn how to work together and adapt or else suffer the wrath of slightly upset tummies.

The Dog and The Donkey That Brayed
by Helen Belay

A teret about a dog and a donkey who set off on a trek in search of independence. Faced with danger, they learn to think before they act and how to use their voice.

All ticket sales will be matched up to 50% by our charity partner Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink
